My Testimony
I had the great privilege of being brought up in a Christian home. The Lord saved me during a Beach Mission run by Mission Evangelist Joe Hayden in my home seaside village of Rhosneigr on the Isle of Anglesey. Around the age of sixteen I began to be involved in children’s outreach, first in the church and later taking school assemblies locally. My desire to reach people with the message of the gospel has continually grown. Around three years ago I was given the opportunity to preach in the open-air. Although I was a very reluctant volunteer, the Lord gave me help and He began to impress upon me a burden to be involved in this kind of outreach. I became an Associate worker with the Mission and then a year ago began working as a Probationary Evangelist.
Throughout the last couple of years the words of the Lord Jesus in Luke 4:43 have been a challenge and inspiration to me. “I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: because for this purpose I have been sent’. Over the last year I have seen the Lord at work, and witnessed many encouragements as a result. I have certainly visited many “other cities also”. However, as I begin in full-time service, the Lord has brought me back to my home area of North Wales. Sadly, an area, which has grown spiritually dull, but then, we have a God who is mighty to save!
