Team Events

The work of the Mission is primarily concerned with taking the message of the gospel outside of the church to where people are. Our simple desire is to reach the ‘Christless multitudes’ who live in this land.

A secondary aim of the Mission is to encourage fellow Christians to do likewise. We are therefore very glad to be able to encompass both aims by offering to interested friends the opportunity to join with us on one or more of the events listed below.

No experience is necessary!

Bournemouth Easter Outreach (March 21st - 24th)
Cardiff Easter Outreach (March 21st - 24th)
London Week  (June 7th - 13th)
Liverpool Week  (June 21st - 28th)
Oxford Fair  (September 7th - 9th)
Manchester Week  (September  20th - 26th)
Reading Week  (October 26th  - November 2nd)
Lincoln Christmas Market  (December 4th - 7th)

Each event consists of open-air preaching, literature distribution and personal work. Time is given over for prayer and the ministry of the Word, which is usually given by the evangelists. There are also opportunities to join for times of fellowship with local believers who support the work.  

If you are accepted for one or more of the Team Events, you would be expected to conduct yourself in a way that is honouring to the Lord. The Team Leader’s authority must be respected at all times.  The cost for each event is approximately £5 per day, minus a £5 deposit, to be sent with this form.

The cost may vary slightly from place to place. The accommodation is fairly basic, but the food is usually excellent!
