HOW CAN I HELP?
Many people have shown an interest in helping, and yet don’t know how.
Below are just some of the ways you can support the work of The Open-Air Mission.
PRAY - For the work and workers regularly. The quarterly Prayer Guide (inserted in the Master and the Multitude Magazine) and monthly Prayer and News Sheet will keep you up to date on needs and also encouragements.
INVITE - One of our workers to come to your church to speak about the front-line evangelism in which we are engaged. Our evangelists are also available for any kind of preaching or speaking opportunity.
BECOME - An Area Representative for the Mission and help to make the work known in your area and encourage further support. We have produced a promotional DVD about the work of the Mission which gives people a clearer idea of the kinds of places we go to for gospel outreach.
HOST - The Bible Exhibition at your church. This is a tremendous means of sharing something of the gospel with boys and girls. So few children have any contact with the church these days. We currently have four Exhibitions which are being used by churches all over Great Britain.
START - Regular open-air evangelism in your own town. We would be happy to come and take a seminar for those who might be interested. We also have two CD ROMs available with helps and hints on open-air outreach.
JOIN - One of our Team Events and gain experience in speaking to others about the Lord.
USE - Our wide range of evangelistic literature which includes tracts, booklets, cassettes CD’s and DVD’s. Encourage others to do the same too.
GIVE - To the work of the Mission so that we can maintain the level of opportunities we have to make the gospel known. If you are a tax payer we can reclaim 28p from every pound that is given through the Gift Aid Scheme.
